Deacons Gate Flint

Flint has passed his Stallion Inspection with the UK Shire Horse Society and he has achieved a lifetime approval to breed registered Shire horses. 

Flint stands at 17.2hh and is suitable for breeding Registered Shires horses and also for covering sport/pleasure mares.

Flint is available to limited mares during the New Zealand breeding season from November - February. If you are interested in sending your mare to Flint for breeding please give Verity a call on 027 223 2169

Flint arrived at our farm on 21 June 2019 as a cheeky young rising 2 year old colt.  

He had come all the way from Queensland, Australia on what ended up being a month long journey due to delays caused by the weather and the freight company having issues with their shipper. 

Despite this he arrived in great condition and I think he quite enjoyed his little adventure to get here.
